ABR Telecom is the Administrative Entity of Number Portability in Brazil, as determined by Anatel's Resolution.

As an Administrative Entity, ABR Telecom manages all portability processes, guaranteeing, along with telecom providers, the implementation such service to more than 200 million users of fixed and mobile lines.

Among the main responsibilities of the Administrative Entity are:

• To make available the technological solution that enables portability with the development and implementation of the National Reference Database of Numbers Held;
• To guarantee the operation and the update of the National Reference Database of Numbers Held;
• To interact with Anatel, contractors and providers, guaranteeing the transparency of the process and the due access to data related to portability.
• To carry out concessions and to manage the access of providers to the database.
